A saxophonist, arranger, bandleader and conductor, Tom Scott has worked on several hit theme songs for television, but only after a successful career as a jazz artist. His solo recordings have earned him thirteen Grammy nominations and three Grammy awards, and his most famous works include Blow It Out in 1977 with the theme for the TV series Starsky & Hutch and Them Changes in 1990. His jazz fusion hits have appeared on dozens of television scores and shows, and he has also worked with artists such as Eddie Money, Frank Sinatra and Joni Mitchell.
