Ron Carter Ringtones

Ron Carter has appeared on over 3500 albums. His virtuoso skill on the double bass has made him one of the most sought after session musicians of the past 50 years. During the 1960s, Carter worked with Thelonious Monk and Wes Montgomery. He was part of the band that backed Miles Davis during the early 1960s. Carter was in the studio for the albums Seven Step to Heaven and E.S.P. During this time, Carter also recorded with Herbie Hancock for the famed Blue Note label. More recently, Carter’s bass can be heard on an album by underground hip-hop stars, A Tribe Called Quest.
