Marvin Gaye-Sexual Healing

Sexual Healing is arguably the most well known song by soul singer Marvin Gaye. Originally released in 1982, the idea for the song came from an off-the-cuff comment music journalist David Ritz made to Gaye during an interview. By early 1883, Sexual Healing was at or near the top of the world’s most important music charts. Gaye won a Grammy for his vocal performance and the single sold over 1 million copies. Sexual Healing has been covered many times, a tribute to Gaye’s musical influence. None of these covers, however, can match Gaye’s smooth delivery and soulful rhythm.
