A Hawaiian-born singer songwriter, musician and filmmaker, Jack Johnson achieved commercial success in the years 2001 – 2005 with his talented guitar music and unique songs. His first interest was surfing, and he enjoyed remarkable success until an accident at the young age of 17. During his recovery, he learned how to create music and began singing and recording track that caught the attention of Ben Harper’s producer, J.P. Plunier. His debut album Brushfire Fairytales released in 2001 earned him a notable degree of success, and later albums included On and On, In Between Dreams, and Sleep Though the Static.
