Disturbed- The Sickness

Chicago natives (and ultra hardcore rockers) Disturbed burst on to the scene in 1999-2000 with their first single, The Sickness. The aggressive guitar rhythms and melodic energy of The Sickness made it an almost instant hit and solidified the status the band’s first album. The disc, also titled The Sickness had a respectably long stay on Billboard’s top 200 charts during 2000 and 2001.

The Sickness was the first in a long line of energetic hardcore anthems that has kept Disturbed in the limelight. Many fans consider it to be their best song to date, while those who don’t follow the hardcore scene will still recognize The Sickness.
