Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds is one of the most successful music industry personas of the last two decades. As a teenager, Edmonds impressed funk start Bootsy Collins with his musical creativity. It was Collins who gave him the tag Babyface. Babyface rose to prominence by penning tunes for Whitney Houston (I’m Your Baby Tonight), Toni Braxton and almost all the songs on TLC’s groundbreaking CrazySexyCool album. He was almost solely responsible for the success of R&B super group Boyz 2 Men. His most popular solo albums were Tender Love and The Day. Babyface continues to work with artists in the studio. His current project is with soul singer Ashanti.
